Megan Job and a Neuroscience major and a Portuguese Minor at Middlebury College. At the W. Montague Cobb Laboratory, she is working on the 1,000 African American Genome Project with Dr. Latifa Jackson in organizing and coding genomic and ancestral data from 400+ individuals within the African diaspora. Her interests are in the intersection of race, disease prevalence, and genomics but specifically, the intersection of disease prevalence and genomics within Black/African American population. She joined the research team at the Cobb Laboratory to study research techniques to map and better understand the impact of race on health within Black/African American population. After Middlebury, her hopes are to pursue an MD/PhD degree.
