Cobb Research Laboratory to conduct anatomical research at University of Toronto in May 2017

Gretchen Johnson and Christopher Cross will be conducting research at the University of Toronto this upcoming May 2017. Development of a less invasive technique to retrieve the petrous bone from the human skull will be developed in collaboration with a team of re-searchers at the University of Toronto. The establishment of this technique is fundamental as it will be utilized for upcoming an-cient DNA studies on skeletal remains in St. Helena. Additionally, this technique is paramount to future ancient DNA studies and biomedical engineering applications in forensic anthropometric and anatomical analyses." ****
